UCDChat is free to use and does not require an account. This page describes, in plain language, how the service handles information.

What you send in chat

Messages you type are sent to our servers and to the AI provider that powers responses, so we can generate an answer. Do not paste identifiable participant data or other sensitive personal information into the chat.

What we store on your device

Your selected role lens is saved in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. Interview practice settings and session counts may also be stored locally when you use the practice tool.

Logs and rate limiting

We apply server-side rate limits by IP address to prevent abuse. We do not sell your data.

Analytics and cookies

The site may use standard hosting and analytics provided by our platform host. No advertising cookies are used in the chat interface.
